Journalist Klodiana Lala's "Në Shënjestër" show revealed this Tuesday new details from the murder in Tirana of businessman Bujar Nasufi, on January 12, 2025.
A cold-blooded execution that shocked Tirana. The victim, Bujar Nasufi, was a well-known furniture entrepreneur who was shot dead in front of his apartment in the Selita area. The incident occurred at around 8:20 p.m. on “Myrte Zeneli” street, while Nasufi was trying to park his car.
The perpetrator was equipped with a motorcycle, similar to those used by pizza delivery drivers. Wearing a diving suit and with well-coordinated movements, he approached the victim inside his Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicle with license plates AA 722 KK and shot him dead.
The victim had no chance of escape. The incident occurred in front of his wife, Mirjeta, the only eyewitness. Despite the fact that Nasufi was not a person with a history or in the public spotlight, the incident has shocked the community and the authorities.
Initially, the victim's low profile made it difficult for investigators to determine motives. But his wife's account has helped shed light on some key details.
As the businessman arrived in his car near the apartment and was looking for a parking space, a man wearing a spacesuit, blacker than darkness itself, fired his bullets from where he shot his prey right inside the vehicle.
Without giving him any chance of escape. Without even uttering a word or leaving him a message about where the order to kill him came from.
It is not known why, perhaps out of panic, he chose a bunker to carry out his final actions to destroy the little evidence that could implicate him.
A remnant of the past that he thought he could save, in the Kombinat area of the capital. Where he burned the motorcycle he was riding.
But in his haste, he left behind one of the most important pieces of evidence that any forensic expert would wish to have in his hands.
Burnt engine and a crucial test
After the crime, the perpetrator fled quickly, taking advantage of the darkness. The engine was later found burned in a bunker in the Kombinat area. There, investigators discovered crucial evidence, a glove, from which a DNA profile was obtained, which is expected to help identify the perpetrator.
The investigative file states that "after committing the murder of businessman Bujar Nasufi, it is learned that the perpetrator, who was riding a motorbike, left the scene of the crime to the outskirts of the capital. Where, in a bunker in the Kombinat area, he burned the motorbike used in the crime."
During the examination of the crime scene, the investigative group was able to secure material evidence, including a glove, from which genetic material was then obtained and a DNA profile was obtained.
But while genetic material was obtained through this glove, the investigative team also looked into possible conflicts that the victim may have had in his daily life or in his business activities.
An invisible part of a man's life shrouded in mystery, where the only one who could shed light on the victim's concerns could be his wife, Mirjeta.
The one who stood by her until her last breath, but who also witnessed her husband's murder.
The wife, who, as she broke down, also spoke about an old conflict that her husband's family had been involved in. Which she was aware of from the beginning. / BalkanWeb
