Italian authorities have arrested a 49-year-old Albanian citizen, suspected of involvement in drug trafficking. The arrest was made in Milan, following an operation carried out by police in the Cologno Monzese area.
According to local media, the investigation began after police received information about suspicious movements of the Albanian near a building. During a physical search, 30 grams of cocaine and substances used to mix drugs were found and seized from him.
The searches continued at his apartment, where a drug lab was discovered. Police also seized about four kilograms of cocaine, two kilograms of heroin, 20 kilograms of mixing substances, detergents and several precision scales.
Over 50 thousand euros in cash were also found in the apartment, which is suspected to have been derived from criminal drug trafficking activity.
