According to them, there will be a significant number of DP members who support Ervin Salijanj, who will write his name for president on the ballots, while they will delete Sali Berisha's name.

The only legal way for the DP leaders to steer over 90% of the votes to Sali Berisha is for them to convince the rebellious members in each regional branch of the party.
But the time until May 23, when the vote will take place, is insufficient to change the minds of those who will mark Salijanj's name on the ballots and erase Sali Berisha's name.
The only remaining option to bring Sali Berisha to the elections as the only leader voted for massively by the membership is to falsify the ballots and operate with two pairs of boxes, according to the scheme that Edi Paloka declared to secure the votes of former president Lulzim Basha.
According to information provided by "Pamfleti" from reliable sources at the DP headquarters, Sali Berisha's trusted group has begun rapid movements and taken measures, delivering many ballot boxes and ballot papers to the party branches in each area, to apply the "Paloka-Basha" scheme.
The fact that 42,750 registered members will vote in 77 branches of the DP, while the election organization group has made almost 160 boxes and about 80,000 ballots, raises suspicions that two sets of boxes and ballots will be used to declare Sali Berisha the winner with over 90% of the votes.
According to the statute, the elections for the chairman of the DP will be held on the principle of "1 member - 1 vote", while behind the scenes, the fear of the Democrats who will place Salijanj's name on the ballots and delete Sali Berisha's name has forced them to be ready for the "1 member - 2 ballots" scheme.
Ervin Salianji has addressed the leadership and administrative institutions of the DP with a complaint about his unfair exclusion from the DP and from running for party leader.
Meanwhile, on Monday, May 18, in his daily communication with the media, Sali Berisha said that the voting is not an electoral process, but a vote of confidence for the reconfirmation of the party leader.
