Altin Dumani confirms in the Laws Committee that SPAK has sent a letter of request to the US regarding the "McGonigal" case and is awaiting a response from the Department of Justice
Edi Rama's political future seems to be in the hands of the Americans. In the US, strong evidence has emerged about Edi Rama's ties to the former FBI agent, but there have been no developments in Albania.
SPAK has initiated criminal proceedings regarding this case, but so far the Prime Minister has not been questioned and there has been no conclusion. Altin Dumani, head of SPAK, spoke about this situation today in the Laws Committee.
He reported on the work for the past year and was asked by MP Ivi Kaso what stage the investigations into the "McGonigal" file are at. Dumani announced that SPAK has conducted many investigations and has sent a letter of request to the US and is awaiting a response from there on the continuation of the investigations.
" This matter is in the preliminary investigation phase. Many investigations have been conducted on Albanian territory, but the assistance of foreign authorities is needed and we are awaiting the assistance of foreign authorities to whom we have sent a request for legal assistance ," said Dumani.
So, it seems that the fate of Edi Rama is in the hands of the US. The investigation conducted by the Department of Justice brought out strong facts about the Albanian Prime Minister in that file and SPAK's letter has gone to this department. If they bring the facts and evidence, then SPAK has nothing to hold back, because if the complete file comes, it means that it is an order from the US to follow through to the end.
The investigation conducted by the Department of Justice was a major blow to Rama, as it reveals the dark threads of the connection with the former FBI agent.
It says that former FBI counterintelligence chief in New York, Charles McGonigal, held several secret meetings with Prime Minister Edi Rama during 2017, while he was in office and leading the most sensitive investigation against the Chinese company CEFC. The meetings were organized by a “non-governmental advisor” to the prime minister, identified in official documents as “Person B,” who also acted as a lobbyist for CEFC.
According to the report by the US Department of Justice’s Inspector General, McGonigal traveled to Albania several times without reporting to the FBI, a direct violation of security protocols. During these trips, he received gifts, dined privately with Rama and shared classified information about the US investigation into CEFC, warning the company’s lobbyists to avoid arrest. In an email sent from his personal email address, McGonigal sent a photo with the Albanian Prime Minister and described “justice reform as a golden opportunity.”
The investigation shows that McGonigal used Albania as a mediation base to influence sensitive American investigations, while Rama himself was used as a bridge for foreign interests. The payments that the former FBI agent received from a former Albanian intelligence official ($225,000 in cash), along with the involvement of an official close to Rama, are part of a vast international scheme that clashes with all security and legal regulations. /Pamphlet

Spaku nuk po kryen detyren kryesire për të cilën eshte krijuar. Spaku mos merret me prioritet vetem me drogaxhinjtë por te merret me prioritet politiksnët hajdute sepse ky eshte misioni i tij. . Për të futur në burg një politikan hajdut apo të korruptuar se njësoj është , mjafton një rast i vetem të provohet për këtë dhe duhet ti vihen prangat.-Nuk ka pse te harxhojn kot vite për të grumbulluar një mal me prova vjedhjesh përnjë person.
