A dinner at the "National Arena", two multi-million tenders and the return of Koço Kokëdhima to the circle of beneficiaries of public funds with the blessing of Edi Rama...
Ten years after they were separated by accusations, denigrations and public exclusions, Edi Rama and Koço Kokëdhima have reunited in the most classic way of power: through tenders. After a dinner held in December 2025 at the “Arena Kombëtare”, Kokëdhima’s company “Abissnet” was announced the winner of a 1.2 million euro tender for internet service for the Albanian Post, despite significantly lower offers from other companies. Just a few weeks earlier, Kokëdhima had also won another contract worth around 6 million euros for the Information Society Agency. The case illustrates the model of recycling political “enemies” into beneficial friends, where conflicts are extinguished and “rags” turn into partners as soon as financial interests demand it.
It is in the character and "historical" model of Edi Rama's behavior that he has no problem bringing friends and associates, with whom he breaks up, expels them or even sends some to prison, back when he needs them for his interests, rewarding them with official positions, funds and public property.
This is what Edi Rama did in mid-December 2025, having dinner at the restaurant at the tower of the "Arena Kombëtare" stadium in Tirana, with his former enemy Koço Kokëdhima, whom he denigrated in 2016 and removed as "rag" from the Socialist Party and Parliament.
But ten years after the separation with denigration and serious mutual accusations, Edi Rama and Koço Kokëdhima have "licked" what they had spat at each other, dining together happily and intimately, as if nothing had happened between them.
After dinner with Babloku, Koço Kokëdhima won another tender worth 1.2 million euros including VAT, for the supply of the Albanian Post Company with internet service for four years.
This financial "scam" of Babloku for Koço Kokëdhima is confirmed by the announcement of the Albanian Post Company in the Public Procurement Bulletin dated February 9, 2026, which states that the winner of the tender for the supply of internet service is the company "Abissnet" sh.pk.
Rama and Kokëdhima have "fallen in love again" after ten years of separation and hostility, so much so that the Albanian Post's executives awarded the tender with a bid of 1.2 million euros including VAT, although two other companies had financial bids of 300 thousand euros and 120 thousand euros lower, respectively.
However, when Babloku's friends participate in tenders, especially when there is a direct order to return them to tenders, no minister, director or mayor dares not implement the order, even by violating the law and accepting higher financial values.
We recall that after dinner with Babloku, Koço Kokëdhima, on January 26, 2026, also emerged as the beneficiary in the tender worth around 6 million euros, for the supply of internet to the Information Society Agency for two years./ Pamphlet
