Israel has continued its attacks on Hezbollah today, while the ceasefire continues to fail to contain the fighting.
The Israel Defense Forces, in a post on Telegram, said overnight that they had targeted a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon.
Using "six tons of explosives," the IDF said it had dismantled the site, it claimed the weapons would be used to target Israeli citizens.
In a separate operation also in southern Lebanon, the IDF said it had targeted another weapons storage facility.
"Over the past 24 hours, IDF soldiers continued to attack Hezbollah terrorists and terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon ," the IDF announced.
Recall that a US-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah has not stopped either side from attacking the other. As part of this, according to the State Department, Israel is allowed to target Hezbollah if it believes it is in danger.
However, Hezbollah often sees these as violations of the agreement, so it retaliates. The people of Lebanon are caught in the middle of the fighting, with more than 3,000 killed and a million displaced, according to the country's health ministry.
