Ukraine is using a computer game-like reward system for its troops. The country's Deputy Prime Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, is leading a project in which soldiers are awarded "Electronic Points" for killing Russian soldiers.
These points can then be exchanged on the online marketplace "Amazon for War" for more weapons and equipment. Fedorov says the program has improved the effectiveness of UAV units.

"In September, units reported more than 18,000 enemy personnel engaged or destroyed. Units are using the points they earn to order drones and additional equipment through the Brave1 marketplace ," he said.
The 3rd Assault Brigade was the first unit to exchange reward points for equipment, receiving them within six days, Fedorov added.
This exchange was made in what Fedorov describes as “Amazon for war.” He told The Guardian that the system had helped, in part, enable Ukrainian soldiers to kill twice as many Russian soldiers in September as the previous October.
