Donald Trump sent messages to Iran as negotiations for a final deal to stop hostilities in the Middle East remain "frozen", through a series of posts on Truth Social.
Through them, the US president may be indicating that the part of the raids on the Iranian mainland is over (he characterizes it as a 6-week "excursion" and compares it to the duration of other wars in which the United States has been involved) and interest is now focused on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. There, last week he announced the "Freedom" initiative to release international ships that have been blocked there for months, but withdrew it two days later.
His new posts (US fighter jets striking Revolutionary Guard speedboats and a US warship destroying an Iranian plane with a laser) may indicate his possible intentions to launch operations exclusively in this particular sea route and on facilities on its shores.

In another post, he compares his policy towards Iran to that of his predecessors, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, claiming to have destroyed the Islamic Republic's Navy.
And all this, while in two days he will be in Beijing to meet with Xi Jinping, where the issue of the Strait of Hormuz and the restoration of navigation are expected to be one of the main topics on the agenda.
