Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has echoed Donald Trump's claims last night that a lasting peace deal of some kind could be imminent. He also told the media to refrain from speculation, after Iranian media published alleged details of the deal.

The US president said earlier this afternoon that the reported terms were "fake news." Recent reports about an imminent peace deal said it would take the form of a memorandum of understanding for a 60-day ceasefire, which Araghchi calls the "Islamabad" Memorandum of Understanding.
Key details about Iran's disputed nuclear program would be resolved during that 60-day period, Axios reported, citing an alleged earlier draft.
