Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has commented on the possibility of an agreement between Tehran and Washington.
Katz said Donald Trump was working towards a deal with Iran from a shared US-Israeli perspective, so that Iran would never acquire a nuclear weapon. He stressed that he hoped Trump would stay true to his principles.
"We expect the Americans to adhere to this principle and others related to missiles and terrorist proxies. Israel will ensure that it maintains the ability to act independently in the future to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons."
"The country's armed forces will also not withdraw from Lebanon, Syria and Gaza ," Katz wrote in a post on social media.
