A shocking video of a UFO that appears to "escape" from a US military drone at a speed that defies every known law of physics has been released by Pentagon sources.
The footage was discovered by investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker Jeremy Corbel, co-creator of the podcast Weaponized, which presents an incident allegedly recorded in 2021 over Syria's Sweida province.
The video, which is said to have been shot by a US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper drone, shows a mushroom-shaped object that initially appears to hover or move at normal speed, before accelerating for a moment and disappearing from the camera's field of view.
According to Corbell and his co-host George Knapp, the footage came from an intelligence community source and the Pentagon's own archives. They say it's another example of the military's "wildlife" recording of UAPs, or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, the new official term for UFOs.
What does the video show?
While analyzing the footage, the journalists, along with national security analyst and UAP expert Marie von Rennekampf, slowed the footage down to 5% of normal speed.
However, the object appears to visually "distort" and disappears almost immediately.
As Rennekampf explains, this is not a loss of focus due to camera movement.
"If the operator had moved the camera suddenly, we would see the entire background shift. This is not the case. The object simply shoots to the right and disappears," he noted.
The researchers point out that this phenomenon has also been described by military personnel in other incidents, describing such maneuvers as "inhuman" as they violate every known limit of physics.
