Kuwait has reacted strongly to Iran's attack on a US air base on its territory, calling it a serious violation of national sovereignty and international law.
In an official statement, Kuwait's Foreign Ministry condemned the attack "in the strongest terms," stressing that such actions are unacceptable and cannot be justified under any circumstances.
"These aggressions cannot be justified or accepted under any pretext," the Kuwaiti authorities said in a statement.
The attack was carried out in the early hours of the morning, with Iran's Revolutionary Guards saying the action was a response to US military operations, which it said had struck Iranian targets, including radars and drones linked to activities in the Strait of Hormuz.
Following the incident, Kuwait announced that it reserves the right to take any necessary measures to protect national security and territorial integrity, at a time when tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate.
