Fourteen Spanish tourists, who were on a cruise ship where suspected cases of hantavirus were reported, have arrived in Madrid and have been placed in quarantine at a military hospital.
Passengers disembarked the ship in the early hours of Sunday and were initially taken to Torrejón de Ardoz air base, near the Spanish capital.
Authorities then transported them by bus to the Gómez Ulla Military Hospital, under tight security. Footage from the scene shows two white buses escorted by police vehicles as they enter the hospital premises.
