Karina Suliak has become one of the most talked-about figures in recent days, following the release of the latest batch of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. The documents reveal that she was not only the last person Epstein spoke to before his death, but also one of the main heirs to the American financier's vast fortune, as well as his fiancée at the time.
According to recent court documents, Suliak was Epstein's last known partner and had a close relationship with him for nearly a decade. Until recently, she was virtually unknown to the general public. Originally from Belarus, Suliak is a dentist and has been described by the media as a discreet and enigmatic figure, who has now found herself at the center of an international scandal.
Karina Suliak was born on March 15, 1989 in Minsk. In 2009, she moved to the United States to pursue studies in dentistry. She enrolled in institutions of higher education, including Columbia University, where she completed her studies and received a license to practice. Her name became more well-known after Epstein's death, but court records and media archives indicate that she became his steady partner around 2010, shortly after Epstein's release from prison after being convicted of crimes related to the prostitution of minors.
For several years, Suliak combined her professional activity with her relationship with Epstein, which led to her appearing at addresses linked to his real estate network. This included a dental clinic in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, linked to companies controlled by Epstein, as well as sporadic attendance at private events.
Investigative documents show that Suliak was the last person Epstein spoke to on the phone before he was found unconscious in his cell in August 2019. In official prison records, she is identified as “Person 1.” The call has fueled much speculation about the circumstances of Epstein’s death, but US authorities have not confirmed any evidence of foul play, ruling the death a suicide.

One of the most significant aspects of the filing is the fact that Epstein had listed Suliak as one of the primary beneficiaries of his estate. In his will, signed on August 8, 2019, just two days before his death, Epstein placed her at the center of his legacy. According to the documents, she was set to receive about $100 million in direct payments and annual installments, as well as several significant properties, including a Manhattan mansion, a Palm Beach villa, the Zorro Ranch ranch in New Mexico, an apartment in Paris, two private islands in the Caribbean and a nearly 33-carat diamond ring, given “in anticipation of marriage.”
However, after Epstein's death, his assets were not immediately distributed. They were transferred to a special fund, known as the "1953 Trust," which was placed under court administration and used to compensate victims of his crimes, as well as legal and tax expenses. This has significantly reduced the value of the assets available to potential heirs, and it remains unclear whether and to what extent Suliak will benefit from these assets, an issue that continues to be examined in legal proceedings.
Her license to practice dentistry in Florida is currently listed as inactive. Media reports also indicate that in 2013 she married an associate of Epstein, a marriage that some media outlets have described as a formality intended to facilitate her residency status in the US.
Although Karina Suliak continues to maintain a low and discreet profile, recent revelations have transformed her into one of the most controversial figures in a multi-layered global scandal.
