"Time for a new Albania", protesters march in the streets of Tirana!
The march begins.

After rallying in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, protesters have begun marching through the streets of Tirana, continuing the 45th consecutive protest against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

With national flags, banners, and anti-government slogans, participants are marching through the main streets of the capital.

During the march, protesters reiterated that they have no intention of backing down from their cause and that the protests will continue until Prime Minister Edi Rama resigns.

"We will not give up" and "Rama, go away" are among the most frequently heard calls along the protest route, while participants say they will continue to take to the streets every week until, in their opinion, there is a change in the direction of the country.

Protesters demand that the government prioritize education, health and the well-being of citizens, opposing, according to them, spending on activities that do not address the daily problems of Albanians. Among the banners and chants, the message was repeated: "We want schools and hospitals, not concerts."

Participants accuse the government of losing touch with citizens' problems and claim that its leaders have entered politics for personal gain. These remain the positions expressed by protesters during the rally.

Despite this being the 45th protest, organizers and participants say their determination has not waned. On the contrary, they say each protest has brought in more citizens and strengthened their belief that change is possible.

They say the continuation of the protests has created a greater spirit of solidarity and civic engagement, giving them hope that their voices will be heard. According to the protesters, this is just the next step in a movement that, they say, will continue until their demands are met.
