US President Donald Trump, speaking from the Oval Office, said that Iran would take 20 years to rebuild if the US were to leave now.
He declared that they had destroyed Iran and that they were defeated even if they were to leave the Middle Eastern country now.
" They had a navy of 159 ships and now every ship is broken into pieces and is at the bottom of the water. I think we won, if we left now, it would take them 20 years to rebuild. We are in good shape ," he says.
He also reiterated the US condition that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons under any circumstances.
"Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. If that were to happen, the whole world would be hostage, that's my only message ," Trump said.
