The exploits of Edi Rama's ministers are endless. Ermal Nufi took over the Ministry of Defense in February, replacing Pirro Vengu, who turned the ministry into a place of refuge for family members.
But Ermal Nufi, who has made millions by moving from one board to another, was not left behind. According to the wealth declaration submitted by him for the past year, it turns out that Nufi has received 7 state salaries, 5 of which as a board member. The other two as a minister and at Albpetrol.
The highest revenue item results from the strategic project "Durres Yacht & Marina", where the minister has declared 18 thousand euros in net income for 2025 alone.
Another significant benefit results from the state-owned military production company KAYO JSC, where Nufi has declared 1,289,276 lek net income from participation in the board of directors.
The list of payments continues with 471,240 lek received from ALBPETROL, 106,250 lek from the State Cadastre Agency and 51 thousand lek from the Albanian Road Authority.
In total, just from participation in boards and management councils, the Minister of Defense has declared benefits exceeding 3.7 million lekë, not including his salary as a manager in the public sector.
According to the asset declaration, until July 10, 2025, Nufi also received 890,754 lek net salary from ALBCONTROL.
While the income has increased, the declaration shows that the minister has also made personal investments. On May 9, 2025, he purchased a fully owned vehicle worth 15 thousand euros, a transaction registered with an official contract.

For months, Ermal Nufi's name has been associated with accusations and public denunciations of possible conflicts of interest. Pamphlet previously reported that the minister's brother, Edmir Nufi, is a shareholder in the company "Maritime Logistics", which operates the Container Terminal in the Port of Durres.
According to previously published documents, the company was granted the right to operate in the port during the period when Ermal Nufi was rising to the top of the government. This is where suspicions of a conflict of interest have been raised, as the Ministry of Defense has subordinate structures that exercise control and supervision in the port area.
Another element that has accompanied public debates is related to reports of close ties between the minister's family members and companies that have benefited from public contracts and tenders during the years when Nufi held influential positions in the administration.
From the tourist marina to the military industry, from the oil sector to road infrastructure and cadastre, Ermal Nufi's name appears on a list of institutions that have provided him with additional income during 2025. Si mundet nje njeri te punoj ne 7 vende dhe te marr 7 paga njëkohësisht?! Ne nje vend ku njerëzit me veshtirsi mbijetojnë? Ky shtet urren shqiptaret. Po çfa jan shtatë rroga per nje minister me nder hiç asgj, po kyeministri sa rroga duhet te ket vall ??? Kryeministri shkret ka vetem 40 % e tendrave dhe te investitorit stratergjik.
Cfare eshte ky shkrim, ne shume vende, mund te jesh anetare bordi ne shume kompani. Nuk e di si i doni njerzit ?? Te vdesin per buke dhe te jene te ndershem. Zgjidhni prifta per Minister dhe nuk do kene te ardhura. Budallalleqe.
Vertet sjemi normal. Si ka mundësi qe i duame njerzit te jetojnë pa 7 paga mujore.. Po ti shim normal, do te kërkonim qe ky minister te kete sepaku 10 rroga. Aq sa kane shumica e tyre qe publiku nuk i di ende.
Nuk kuptoj si paguhet ke Durres Marina kur ata vetem 2 pallate te zhytyra 9 cm kane bere ...ku dalin te ardhurat?
Kjo është gabim! Aferat korruptive fillojnë këtu. Një anëtar i qeverisë nuk mund të jetë anëtar i bordit. Bordi nuk mund të vendosë bazuar në parimet e biznesit përpara një ministri. Pikë!
