RENEA and the police continue the search for Sadik Llani, suspected of a murder in Kamëz. During the operation in Fushë-Krujë and the surrounding areas, dozens of apartments were searched, while in Bovilë an abandoned vehicle was found that was suspected of being used by the perpetrator. In another case, a person suspected of involvement in the disappearance of Eglant Koç was arrested in Tirana, while investigations continue to fully clarify his fate.
In Shkodra, police have detained a person suspected of transporting the perpetrator of the attack on the director of the National Academy of Vocational Training, identifying another perpetrator who is wanted. Meanwhile, in Vlora, a criminal group with 6 arrested, suspected of weapons possession, drug trafficking and wounding, was cracked down on, where weapons, vehicles and cash were seized.
Also in Vlora, the Prosecution Office has seized assets worth around 5 million euros, suspected to have been obtained through forged documents, as part of money laundering investigations. In the justice system, the GJKKO has continued with important issues: Ilir Beqaj in the "Sterilization" file has requested the exclusion of digital evidence, questioning the SPAK laboratory, while decisions have also been issued for members of criminal groups linked to Laert Haxhiu, including the sentencing of Kristi Bixheku and Artan Tafani.
Abroad, a large cocaine trafficking ring has been busted in Italy with 12 arrests, where a pizzeria was used as a logistical base. A large anti-drug operation is underway in Kosovo with the involvement of Europol and several EU countries, where several arrest warrants have been signed.
