The protest against the Zvërnec project has continued into its sixth day, with protesters who, after the rally ended, dispersed to different areas of Tirana to invite citizens to join them.
As at the end of previous protests, groups of young people took to the capital's cafes, calling on customers to leave their tables and join the protest. "Get up from the cafe," was the slogan repeated in chorus by the protesters as they moved through the city's streets.
Afterwards, participants marched towards the "Black Bird" area, continuing their calls against the controversial project in Zvërnec and demanding greater civic engagement.
During the march, the protesters also received support from passersby and drivers in the area. Some citizens got out of their vehicles to greet and applaud the protest participants.
Rallies against the construction of the resort in Zvërnec have been taking place for six consecutive days in Tirana, while organizers have announced their continuation in the coming days.
