Journalist Marin Mema participated in the protest held in Tirana in support of the Albanian language and in solidarity with Albanian students in North Macedonia, conveying strong messages about national unity and the role of young people.
Standing next to the banner "We are together", one of the main symbols of the protest, Mema declared that Albanians must stand united beyond political divisions.
" I'm starting from the message we gave with this banner here: we are together because today we are truly together beyond every party, every force! The nation is above every party, the nation is sacred, the nation is the blood and soul of every Albanian and there is no one who can separate us! ", he said.
The journalist emphasized that Albanians, wherever they live, share the same identity and should support each other.
" We will be by the side of every Albanian every day in every inch of Albanian lands, by the side of our brothers in Macedonia and everywhere because we will be one soul, one heart, one history, one culture, one identity, one blood, Albanian, sacred blood! ", declared Mema.
He also dedicated part of his speech to young Albanians, calling on them to be more committed to the future of the country and restore Albania's dignity.
" It is time for young Albanians to take everything into their own hands, it is time for young Albanians to restore the dignity of Albania and the Albanian lands! Albania needs all these young people ," he said.
In conclusion, Mema appealed for more love for national identity and unity among Albanians.
" Albanians need people who love Albanianness with all their heart, so do it as much as possible every day because Albanianness is only done by those who truly love it. It's time for Albanians, for every inch of this land !", the journalist concluded.
