SPAK has expanded its investigations following the operation conducted on June 16, which targeted a criminal group suspected of trafficking at least 50 tons of cocaine from Latin American countries to Europe, generating millions of euros in suspected illegal income.
Within the framework of this voluminous file, investigators have carried out checks on 17 businessmen and more than 30 companies operating mainly in the construction sector. According to information, checks were also carried out on the company "Lura shpk", known for the construction of villa complexes in Lalëzit Bay, such as LURA 1, LURA 2 and other projects. The builder closely linked to the Berisha family, Dodë Doçi, was also part of the checks.
