Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu, while commenting on the DP protest, said that governments are not overthrown with Molotov cocktails, while emphasizing that the Albanian opposition has postponed the "revolution" until after the end-of-year holidays.
Comparing it to protests when Lulzim Basha was at the helm of the DP, he stressed that Berisha's rally did not even reach the level of the protests led by Basha. According to Spahiu, the real goal of the protest was an attempt to de-factor Adriatik Lapaj and Ervin Salianji.
"Expectations were high but the government doesn't fall with capsules, but the opposition postpones the revolution after the end-of-year holidays, there is no continuity and there is no tomorrow. When anyone I can ask says is Edi Rama falling, what is happening, firefighting is happening, because the people expect the government to fall from Rama's scandals, when he takes out 5 thousand people without cheering. They wanted to improvise violence but were not ready to go to the Prime Minister's Office and confront him. There is neither quantity nor sustainability, as happened in '97, '98 or during the time of Lulzim Basha, because they are bigger than Basha's. Berisha is not even reaching the level of Luli. He managed to de-factor Lapaj and Salianji. He cannot overthrow these and not Rama. Those 20 people from Lapaj resist more than those from the DP ", he said.
