Security expert Ilir Kulla has commented on the latest political and judicial developments in the country, focusing on the request of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) to lift the immunity of MP Belinda Balluku.
Invited to the show "Të Pashoj", Kulla emphasized that we are dealing with an open battle between the executive and the justice system. According to him, the internationals have put Rama in a minefield.
" It is still too early to speak. One thing is clear that the trap in which the international factor has put the government in Albania is a minefield. So, the success of the government, which is the opening of all chapters, is also the threat to the entire government, because in half of the chapters it is precisely about the justice system. And the prime minister rightly says that there is no country in the world, in the democratic world we mean, but no country in the world in which the court suspends a member of the Council of Ministers. That is the truth. But, because in any other country, in the case of serious accusations directed at the number two of the government, uh, that thing would not have gone precisely because there would have been a political action, which is the resignation ," he said.
