Security expert Ilir Kulla has warned of sanctions against Edi Rama and his government if he enters into conflict with SPAK.
The prosecution has requested the lifting of Balluku's immunity and there are rumors that Rama may now attempt to challenge SPAK, even going so far as to seek legal changes. Kulla said on "Të Pashoj" that if this happens, there will be sanctions.
" He will face all the sanctions that will come to him precisely because of this work that he is obliged to do, that is, that of opening all the chapters and because one thing is clear that at some point all the internationals, across the Atlantic, on this side of the Atlantic, all the organizations that Albania participates in or has joined or supports, the issue of justice is the main issue and if we have a direct political clash between the majority and the justice system, I am convinced that a history of political sanctions against the government will begin. And I do not think that this is something to the advantage of the prime minister or the government ," he said.
