Prime Minister Edi Rama presented the package of legal measures for the protection of property and territory. Rama said that the new legal package was worked on very intensively by a large group of experts, lawyers and with the help of several MPs who have had an activity related to the laws committee.
Rama warned that the demolition of unauthorized constructions could continue until the end of the new government mandate. The Prime Minister also warned about the protection of the authorship of architectural projects, which have been deformed and violated in their form by the intervention of builders.
"I want to thank all those who have participated in this work that has been gradually developed throughout the summer period and I strongly believe that, making the parenthesis that nothing is perfect, this package is not perfect either, but it is a set of measures that will give us the opportunity to have new instruments in hand to protect the territory, starting from the final success of an offensive that will last as long as necessary, perhaps throughout the new mandate, to the irrevocable prohibition of any use for building without permission, continuing to the protection of the authorship of architectural projects, which during all this time since construction began in Albania, have been deformed and violated in their form by the intervention of builders, which certainly turns the decision-making that the relevant local government units take into practice, almost formal.
"And another significant consequence of the fraud that is committed against buyers by selling them objects that have received permits with the images of the permits presented," said Rama.
