Over 26,600 high school graduates across Albania are taking the Mathematics exam today, the third and penultimate test of the 2025 State Matura. The exam started at 10:00 and is expected to end at 12:30.
The Ministry of Education has set a series of rules that high school graduates must respect during testing. The use of mobile phones, smart watches and any other electronic devices that may compromise the integrity of the process is prohibited in the exam premises.
Students must present an identification document, ID card or passport, and bring two pens, a small ruler, a simple calculator and a bottle of water. Regarding the dress code, the school uniform is preferred, while in cases where it is missing, simple clothing, such as a T-shirt and jeans, is allowed.
The exam is being held in 144 testing centers set up in schools across the country. 2,087 teacher administrators and 170 monitors from the Ministry of Education have been engaged to administer and oversee the process.
After the testing is completed, 650 evaluators will be engaged in correcting the theses and evaluating the results. The Mathematics Exam is considered one of the most important tests of the State Matura, as the results directly affect the competition of the graduates for admission to university programs.
