During her report to the KLP, the candidate for head of SPAK, Doloreza Musabelliu, presented some of the sensitive issues she has pursued as a prosecutor.
Musabelliu said that her experience has been in investigating organized crime, but also murder cases related to blood feuds. She said that she has also investigated corruption cases, while stating that no official is above the law.
" I have had drug trafficking cases since 2004. I can mention a case from 2005. It was a sensitive issue, another case from 2015 was the first time a case of air trafficking of narcotics was identified, 7 people and one judicial police officer were sent for trial and were sentenced with a final decision.
All persons involved in the drug trafficking case have been identified. These international investigations have strengthened my ability to manage complex issues and achieve concrete results. The fight against trafficking has become a global priority and requires advanced investigative approaches, which I have had the opportunity to apply since the beginning of my career.
I have investigated cases of murder, for family reasons, due to the special qualities of the victim, murder for revenge, in other qualifying circumstances or blood feud. Murder of an official of the operational forces of justice, etc.
"After 2014 and the legal changes, I had the opportunity to investigate issues of active and passive corruption of justice officials. No public official is above the law ," said Musabelliu.
