Today began with tensions in front of Parliament after a group of protesters attacked the cars of MPs and ministers with eggs as they were heading to the Assembly for today's plenary session.
State police officers immediately intervened to stop the attacks, escorting several protesters, including Gent Progni.
Progni was positioned in a bar near the Academy of Sciences from where he also threw eggs at the deputies.
Also in the bar were Socialist MPs Ulsi Manja and Admir Kadeli, whom Progni insulted by calling them thieves.
Protesters also threw flour and eggs at the Speaker of the Parliament's vehicle. They also targeted several Socialist MPs, including Ardit Bido, Ervin Demo and Blendi Klosi, as they entered the Parliament building.
Socialist Party MP Ramion Kurti was also pelted with eggs shortly before entering Parliament. Opposition MPs were treated differently. No objects were thrown as they passed through the protest area, but chants of "Sold Out Opposition" were heard from the crowd.
So far, police have escorted 6 protesters.
Compared to yesterday's protest, there are increased police forces in the areas surrounding Parliament.
