Severe scenes were seen today from the protest held in front of the Parliament, where the situation was accompanied by tensions and clashes between protesters and law enforcement.
According to a citizen's complaint, an incident was reported where a young man was allegedly taken from a bar near the Parliament area by Ulsi Manja's bodyguards and raped.
Meanwhile, some of the protesters threw eggs at the deputies, which caused the police to react by escorting them to the police station.
At the same time, some protesters broke through the metal fence and attempted to enter the Parliament, which led the Police to use tear gas.
This morning, some socialist lawmakers had entered the chamber earlier, while others who arrived later were attacked with eggs and flour by a group of protesters. The police intervened, escorting 5 of them.
Security measures around Parliament have been increased even before the citizens' rally began. In addition to the metal fence and the perimeter of the area, an armored security vehicle and a water cannon, which are usually used to disperse protesters in cases of escalation, have been positioned.
Also on Tuesday, protesters held a protest in front of Parliament where several incidents were recorded. The situation became tense with physical clashes and the throwing of pyrotechnic devices.
