Socialist MP Ardit Bido and Lëvizja Bashkë MP Redi Muçi were involved in a strong debate during Thursday's plenary session, where the focus of the replies was the Cham issue, the investigations into properties in Zvërnec, and the protests held outside Parliament.
Muçi said that Bido, on the orders of the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has targeted him and has been 'soldiered to death'.
Muçi then addressed Bido and told him that he did not take him seriously at all and ironically added that the socialist MP reminded him of the comedies of the 1990s.
"Comrade Bido, on the orders of Taulant, who a few weeks ago said he had targeted me, was stabbed in the back with bread in a sack. At that time, they would drag you into the investigator's office and flood you with streams of accusations. But I, Bido, not that I don't take you seriously, but you don't even seem like those scoundrels who were investigators during Enver's time. You only remind me of the comedies of the 90s. You remind me of Ceke who came out of the bushes with a radio receiver in his hand. Therefore, Bido, continue with the counterintelligence campaign and not take a step back," said Muçi, among other things.
Bido accused Muçi and the Together Movement of never defending the Cham issue, while also focusing on the investigations into the properties in Zvërnec. According to him, SPAK acted correctly by blocking the amount of 128 million euros from the sale of the property and, at the end of the process, the funds will be transferred to the owner who will be legally recognized.
"Today we approve the Resolution on the work of the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination. I want to focus only on one aspect. In the aspect that in our public debate, these charlatans and unbridled populists, anti-Albanians and traitors who stifle our public debate have suddenly disappeared in recent weeks. For Zvërnec, for what these charlatans were probably led to and that thousands of Albanians were rightly led to, that then these thousands of Albanians fled the square and then only these charlatans remained. The property rights of the residents of Zvërnec are a legitimate right.
As the only MP who has spoken by name together with colleagues from the Socialist Party when these anti-Albanian populists were closing their mouths, I say again, the residents of Zvërnec have the full right to ownership with Law 7501 and the Balliu and Moçka tribes with the documents they have. In response, Redi Muçi rejected the accusations, stating that the Together Movement is the only political force that specifically mentions the Cham issue in its program. He also said that he had no hesitation in denouncing the genocide against the Cham Albanians from the rostrum of the Parliament.
"It seems that Mr. Bido does not follow me on social networks. The Bashke Movement, of which I am proudly a member, is the only political force that specifically mentions the Cham people and their right to be recognized by the Greek state in its political program. Not even Mr. Bido's neck, where the snake is, does this. I am the only one from Parliament who has denounced the genocide against the Palestinian people, because for us in the Bashke Movement, injustice against one people is injustice against every people. The debate did not end there. Ardit Bido took the floor again and accused Muçi of dividing the nation by using the term "Cham people", while also criticizing the comparison he made with Palestine.
"The Cham people, tell someone else. Create divisions within our nation outside this Assembly. Because you are shameless and impudent. You compare the Albanians of Chameria with Palestine. As much as we, the Socialist Party, are a force that will crush you, you cannot create divisions," said Bido.
