A powerful explosion occurred in the early hours of this morning, around 04:00 on Thursday morning, in a bar in Vlora.
According to preliminary data, it is suspected that the incident was caused by a quantity of explosive material, suspected to be TNT. The incident took place in the "Pavarësia" neighborhood in Vlora, while the explosive material was placed on the door of the bar.
The force of the explosion caused significant material damage to the business premises, while a vehicle parked near the premises was also damaged.
Immediately after the alert, the Vlora Police services and the forensic expertise group arrived at the scene, who began examining the area and collecting evidence to determine the cause of the explosion and identify the perpetrator or perpetrators.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far. In the meantime, investigations are continuing to fully document the incident and clarify the circumstances in which the explosive was placed, if the preliminary suspicions are confirmed.
