Analyst Frrok Çupi has made strong statements against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, whom he described as one of the most dangerous and divisive figures in the country's political history.
Invited to the 'Tirana Live' show on 'ABC News', Çupi said that everything bad can be expected from Berisha, as he sees himself at the end of the political path and tries to pull as much as possible behind him, including the country itself.
According to him, Berisha is a figure who cannot stop and hates everything he does not control, spreading conflict and discord from the beginning of his career. Çupi stressed that although Albania has done him many favors, he has never known how to appreciate them and has reacted with violence and hatred, even towards his own people.
Çupi also harshly criticized the shortcomings in Albanian legislation, which according to him have allowed Berisha to avoid facing justice for his actions. According to the analyst, Berisha's recent actions, such as the incident in Theth, are evidence of his unchanged stance towards Albania and his desire to destabilize the country.
"From Sali Berisha, everything bad and harmful is expected. Berisha sees himself at the end of the world and seeks to draw as much as possible closer to himself, even the country. The country has done him great honors, but to a person who does not know how to appreciate it. If Berisha does not stop something, he hates it. The whole story is like this, from his own people, from Tropoja. He started the stop and killed 200 young men and women, all of whom are from Tropoja. Berisha is the only Albanian leader who is divided over the division of the country by his own leaders.
