Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted through a post on social media regarding the action launched this morning by Tax and NFA inspectors, regarding the sale of dairy and meat products without accompanying invoices.
Rama writes online that non-invoicing for milk, meat and fresh dairy products threatens the health of consumers, in addition to violating the legal order like any other non-invoicing.
"Maximum commitment to the seizure of these goods without invoices," Rama writes.
This morning, checks began across the country and, based on instructions, any dairy and meat product that does not have a certificate of origin will be seized. Rama ordered such an action within the framework of the efforts of the Government and institutions to fulfill one of the criteria for moving forward towards the EU, which has to do with food safety.
