A palace in the coastal city of Vlora has been confiscated and has now been transferred to the state. The confiscation comes during the campaign to free up public spaces and demolish unauthorized constructions.
IKMT inspectors and director Dallëndyshe Bici went to the field, saying that all entities that have violated or will violate the construction permit will face the same fate, namely confiscation.
"In the course of the inspections, this object will be confiscated and will be transferred to the state for public interest. The same fate will befall all those entities that result with a building permit, but that have built in brutal violation of the building permit, violating the public interest. We will inspect objects with or without a building permit ," Bici told "Report TV".
The warning about the confiscation of this palace was given by Prime Minister Rama himself during a meeting with MPs, municipal directors and political leaders, who said that the action against illegal construction has not only extended to Theth, but has also hit the so-called oligarchs of the coast.
Bici has inspected several construction sites in Vlora to ensure that they meet legal standards and do not affect public spaces or state property.
She was also present at the building that was confiscated. It is a building that had received permission to build 8 floors, an attic and an underground floor. The developer is 'Armeer Konstruksion' and Fatmir Halla.
IKMT is expected to prepare a detailed report on the findings in the field, while the chief inspector has warned of measures against entities that result in violations of the law on the territory. It is learned that IMT has previously imposed three fines of 50 million lek each for violation of the permit.
