Fulvio Pea has officially announced his departure from the position of Technical Director of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), ending a three-year term at the head of the technical sector. The decision was made public through a post on social media, where the Italian technician confirmed that he will not renew his contract.
In his message, Pea describes the period in Albania as challenging and formative, both professionally and personally. He praised the cooperation with the institution and local football players, underlining the importance of teamwork.
" After 7 years away from Italy, after many days of reflection, I thought it was time to return and get a little closer to my family. However, it remains a very beautiful experience, also thanks to everything I experienced in Albania ."
Pea thanked the leaders of the Albanian Football Association, the presidents of the Super League and First Division clubs, as well as the federation staff for their cooperation during this period.
" From my first day and throughout my stay here, thanks to the special characteristic of Albanians, who are very hospitable. I also thank the presidents of the Super League and First Category clubs, with whom I have worked and shared several projects. I thank the staff of the federation, who has always been very willing and understanding ."
Just hours after the announcement of his departure, Italian media are reporting on a possible return of Peas to Inter. According to these sources, he could take on a role as youth academy coordinator at Appiano Gentile.
Pea has a previous history with the club, where he managed the youth teams and knows the internal structures. He also worked with manager Giuseppe Marotta during his time at Sampdoria. It is not yet clear whether the potential role is related to the youth team or the U-23 project.
