A few hours after the dismissal of coach Vangjel Mile, KF Tirana has found a successor on the white and blue bench. Tirana has today officially appointed Italian coach Roberto Bordin, who will take charge of the 26-time champions of Albania.
The Italian is a well-known name in Italian and international football, with extensive experience as a coach. He has managed teams such as Sheriff Tiraspol, Neftçi Baku, Triestina, and was also the coach of the Moldovan national team.
Alongside him, Tirana has also introduced Marco Veronese as assistant coach. Veronese has a long career as a player and coach, being part of serious projects in Italy, while at the international level he also served as assistant coach of the Albanian National Team during the successful period under the leadership of Gianni De Biasi. This makes him a good connoisseur of the reality of Albanian football.
The white and blue club welcomed the Italian duo, expressing optimism for future successes. Tirana has only received 1 point in the first two matches, which led to the dismissal of coach Vangjel Mile.
