Analyst Ilir Demalia has responded to Rudi Vata, after the latter declared that he will sue him for defamation of his image.
In an exclusive statement for "Top Channel" Demalia insists that Vata lies in his book "My life! Football, Freedom and Paradise", he even challenges the former captain of the national team that he is ready to go to Glasgow, Scotland, where Vata lives with his family, for the trial.

Rudi, in your reaction to my article two days ago "Why is Rudi Vata lying?!", you responded today with an article entitled, "What kind of man are you who call me a fool?" We are not getting into the business of men because if I give you an answer as I know, it will not be ethical. I didn't call you a liar, but a liar.
And you still insist that you "illegally" learned Italian with a priest whose "illegal" teacher's name you seem to have forgotten?!!
If you do not have a clear definition of the word illegally and privately in this case, then learn it; illegal is an act or literature prohibited by law and done secretly. Has foreign language been prohibited by law in Albania?!!
I will repeat: Foreign languages have not been banned in Albania, but they have been taught regularly since 7-year and then 8-year schools since 1948, Russian and then French, English, Italian and finally Spanish.
Since 1950, there has been a Pedagogical School in Tirana, where the Women's Institute used to be at the time of Zog and Italy, on the street of Elbasan, diagonal to the Parliament today, where the movie "Girls with red ribbons" was played, were the branches of languages foreign Russian, French, English Italian.
With the creation of the State University of Tirana in 1957, the Department of Philology was also created, where there were branches of foreign languages, Russian, English, French, and later Italian and Spanish.
I would like to add that foreign languages are also learned in prison. Many prisoners from the priests learned foreign languages Italian, French, German that they were fluent in from Jesuit schools as enlightened people of Albania with western vocation. There were prisoners translating for the material dictatorship state of the Ministry of the Interior, certainly not secret materials and literature but technical and methods of using violence in cases of protests and violent civil movements.

Në qoftë se ju keni ngatërruar fjalën privatisht me “ ilegalisht” është çështje e juaja, e mosnjohurisë së definicionit të fjalës, dhe jo e imja. Në qoftë se vazhdoni ngulni këmbë se keni mësuar “ ilegalisht” , atëherë jeni gënjeshtar dhe jo rrenacak.

Nuk po hyj ke futbollistët e Tiranës që janë pjesë e jetës, emocioneve, gëzimeve dhe hidhërimeve për padrejtësitë që ju bënë nga regjimi në sport dhe në shkatërrimin e jetës. Ti nuk je Skënder Halili, që pse nuk pranoi të luante me Dinamon e futën në burg. Po edhe ata Dinamos dhe Partizanit që me shumë jam rrit në lagje në Tiranë, aty ku vije ti ke Tot Çaushi. Ti nuk je legjenda Paulin Ndoja që realisht ishte i persekutuar dhe nuk u lejua kurrë të dilte jashtë. Ti nuk je as Qemal Vogli që u arratis ne 1956. As si lojtarët e Vllaznisë Arvit Hoxha the Lulzim Bëshemi që u arratisën në 1988 në Greqi dhe u internuan familjet e tyre pas disa ditësh.
Meqë më kërkove burrëri, burri nuk flet për vete, po shko dhe pyet ata futbollistë.
Për mos tú zgjatur, a e konsideron veten të persekutuar, arratisur nga Shqipëria dhe shpallur “armik” në 1991 kur u largove në Francë në Mars 1991, ku kombëtarja luajti me Francën dhe u mundët 5-0 në një kohe që regjimi kishte rënë dhe njerëzit largoheshin me Anije nga Shqipëria? Në këtë kohë u larguan shumë futbollist si puna juaj, Demollari, Minga, Kola, Lekbello, Alimehmeti, e plotë të tjerë, por nuk kam dëgjuar asnjë që të thotë u arratisëm.
Nuk e kam lexuar librin. Te jap fjalën që në mundësinë e parë që do të gjej do ta lexoj dhe do t’i bëj një analizë reale.

You can get away from the crowd, but the crowd in your head needs work and self-awareness and an honest relationship with yourself to get rid of it. There is nothing worse than lying to yourself.
