
Morocco have won the bronze medal in men's football after inflicting a crushing 6-0 defeat on African rivals Egypt at the Olympics being held in Paris.
After leading 2-0 at half-time, Morocco scored four more goals in the second half to run away with a 6-0 victory.
Initially, Morocco took the lead with Ezzalzouli's goal scored in the 23rd minute. Three minutes later, Rahimi made it 2-0, while Ezzalzouli was on the assist.
In the second half, Rahimi scored the second personal goal and the third for Morocco in the 64th minute. Nakach took care of the 5-0, indicating that the bronze medal would go to Morocco.
But, the victory of the Moroccans was sealed by Achraf Hakimi, who scored from over 30 meters from the free throw for 6-0, thus grabbing the first medal in football history.
