A showdown between the Albanian boxer and the former British heavyweight champion could become a reality, as the name of the Shkodranian has been mentioned as a potential opponent for Tyson Fury.
The possibility of a historic duel between Albanian boxer Nelson Hysa and world boxing icon Tyson Fury is gaining more and more attention. The Albanian champion's name has recently been mentioned as one of the Briton's possible opponents in a future showdown in the ring.
Tyson Fury himself has confirmed that Hysa was among the names discussed for a possible duel.
" And Nelson was one of the names that was talked about. He's highly ranked and undefeated, a KO artist. So he was one of the guys that was talked about as well ," Fury said.
After these statements, Nelson Hysa reacted through a video published on social networks, where he expressed his willingness to face one of the biggest names in professional boxing.
" Tyson Fury, what a pleasure to be mentioned as your potential opponent. It would be an honor to share the ring with a legend like you. I'm ready, I'm working hard every day, and if the opportunity comes, send me the contract ," Hysa declared.
The boxer from Shkodran remains undefeated in his professional career and is considered one of the most promising names in the heavyweight category. A possible showdown with Tyson Fury would constitute the biggest challenge of his career and a historic moment for Albanian boxing.
