Federik Veseli was one of the protagonists of this week's challenge in the Italian Serie B, where Sudtirol faced Modena in a direct duel for the "play-off" zone.
The Albanian defender left his mark in the opening minutes of the match. In the 6th minute, he provided a precise assist from the left wing to Pietranxhel, who headed the ball into the net, temporarily tying the score at 1-1.
However, despite this positive moment, the score remained unchanged until the end of the match. Sudtirol failed to get a significant victory and continues to remain outside the play-off zone, missing an opportunity to stop a direct rival in the fight for promotion to the elite.
Individually, Veseli seems to have regained consistency in his playing this season. However, this form has not yet been reflected in a return to the Albanian national team, where he has been absent since March 2024.
