Brazil secured their first win at the 2026 World Cup, beating Haiti 3-0 in Philadelphia. Carlo Ancelotti's team took control in the first half thanks to a brilliant performance from Lucas Paqueta, Matheus Cunha and Vinicius Junior.
After an unconvincing debut in the tournament, the Selecao responded with a dominant performance against Haiti. Cunha scored the first two goals of the match, while Vinicius sealed the 3-0 win just before half-time.
Brazil controlled the game from the first minute. In the 11th minute, Raphinha sent the ball into the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside. The Barcelona forward created another good chance in the 21st minute, but his attempt went wide.
The lead came in the 23rd minute. After a shot by Vinicius and an intervention by goalkeeper Placide, the ball deflected to Cunha, who took advantage to score for 1-0.
The second goal came in the 36th minute after a quick counterattack. Paqueta recovered the ball in midfield, Vinicius started the action and served for Cunha, who doubled the advantage with a powerful shot.

Vinicius and Martinelli also created other chances for the Brazilians, while Endrick saw a goal disallowed for offside.
With this victory, Brazil moves up to four points and leads Group C with equal points with Morocco. Scotland follows with three points, while Haiti remains without any points. In the next match, Brazil will face Scotland, while Haiti will face Morocco.
