Erjon Bogdani has left a mark that can hardly be erased from the history of the national team. The former red and black striker continues to lead the list of top scorers for Albania, scoring 18 goals.
In an interview given to "Panorama Sport", Bogdani said that he sees Albania's situation as positive, admitting that the victory in Serbia has given the national team more chances.
There are still a few days left before the last two matches. How do you see Albania's situation?
I see Albania's situation positively. The victory we made in Serbia was very important. However, we must pay maximum attention to the match with Andorra, because in general, in the matches we play with weaker teams than us, we have more difficulties. I mean that the concentration and pace are not the same as we maintain with stronger teams than us. While the match against England, in terms of concentration and importance, is "easier" to prepare as a match.
What do you think is the moment that could change history?
Looking at the performance of the national team, I would say that participating in the World Cup would be the moment that could change history.
Your goal record remains intact. Do you see a "Bogdani 2" in the National Team?
Bogdani is Bogdani, I don't want to confuse the times and the career I have had. However, in terms of the characteristics of the players, Broja and Daku are like me.
