Albanian boxer from Kumanovo, Astrit Sejdi, beat the son of Serbian criminal Arkan, Veljko Raznatovic, in the middle of Zurich.
Sejdi told "Top Channel" that he started provoking him and then they clashed with each other. He said that he was escorted to the police station in connection with the incident and was later released.
" Yesterday at 5:00 PM, we met by chance, he was wearing a Putin and his father's t-shirt and I, as an angry Albanian, he had also been a boxer, I didn't know, we fought, fortunately it was a very serious physical fight against him, we met by chance, he was with some friends, we confronted each other. He started to provoke, we as Albanians are hot-tempered. He was kissing his t-shirt, there is no place for Albanians, I don't know their language, he was provoking. For 5-6 years, there was a reaction, even the police understood that we have a conflict with Serbia, I gave a statement and I was released. I don't know if he was escorted ," said Astrit Sejdi.
Arkan (Željko Ražnatović) is a well-known Serbian military and criminal figure during the 1990s.
He became famous as the leader of "Arkan's Tigers", a Serbian paramilitary unit that operated during the wars in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo.
He was accused of war crimes, including murder, deportations of the population, and atrocities against non-Serb civilians. He was also involved in organized crime (theft, bank robberies, smuggling).
Arkan was killed in 2000 at the InterContinental Hotel in Belgrade, in an assassination attempt.
