Altin Rraklli, the former top scorer of the Albanian national football team, spoke about the Rossoneri's last match, where two draws were recorded, with Serbia and Tuesday evening's away match against Latvia.
The former footballer emphasized that the draw in Latvia dealt a major blow to the World Cup dream, as according to him, Albania could even attempt first place, since according to Rraklli, England is not the team of its best days either.
" England is not in its best days. We saw this in the match against Andorra where they won by only one goal, but also in Tuesday's friendly against Senegal. England is no longer that great team ," said Rraklli.
He further emphasized that it is very important that the players arrive without injuries in October, as there is still hope.
" If we draw in Belgrade and beat England in Tirana we can still have hopes for first place. However, he says that the draw in Latvia will cut short our hopes ," said Rraklli.
