Singer Ardit Çuni has decided to withdraw from the "Magic Song" competition, just a few days before the final nights. Çuni, who returned to this festival after a break, competed this year with the song "Te du".
The news was announced by the singer himself through a post on Instagram, where he thanked the organizer Ardit Gjebrea and the entire festival team for their support. However, he has not given concrete reasons for his withdrawal, leaving people puzzled.
His full post:
"Like you, I was looking forward to performing in the final nights of Magical Song, the ballad that you embraced beyond my expectations, but at the last moment I have decided to withdraw from the competition, ending here my journey in this festival that has given a lot over the years.
You will ask about the reasons, you will speculate with news, and maybe you will ask me to speak, but this time I have decided to do it in complete silence so as not to spoil the magic of this performance.
The song "Te Du" has achieved what I wanted, to show that we indicate the tastes of the public with our music, that apparently there are still many in Albania who are hungry for ART and professional songs like this and many others in this edition.
Thanking you all for the great support, I promise you that we will see you very soon with even more beautiful projects.
