
In the trial for the murder of Liridona Ademaj, the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina requested life imprisonment for Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla.
According to the prosecution, Murseli organized and planned the murder for financial gain and other motives, creating a scenario that presented itself as a robbery. In this scheme, the victim was treated as a consequence of the plan.
The indictment defines the roles of each defendant. Murseli is charged with planning the crime, Plava with executing the murder, and Kokalla with mediating between them.
During the hearing, the prosecution also presented evidence related to the victim's children, given in the presence of specialists during a visit abroad. According to the prosecutor, the eldest son stated, "The thief put his hand in and hit his mother."
The victim's brother also testified at the trial, describing the way the event was organized according to his knowledge.
The event occurred in November 2023. The court has set April 21, 1:30 p.m., for the announcement of the verdict against the defendants.
