A citizen from Kosovo has been arrested in Tirana with the aim of extradition to Kosovo. He is Anton Allakaj, accused of a murder committed about 25 years ago, suspected to be an act of revenge.

Allakaj was sentenced by the Peja Court to 11 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Murder", while he still has 9 years and 8 months of imprisonment left to serve.

During the search, police found identification documents suspected to be forged. According to information, he was using different identities, including the names Naser Muja and Ded Dedaj.

"A citizen on international wanted list, who was sentenced by the Peja Court to 11 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Murder", has been captured and arrested with the aim of extradition to Kosovo. He has 9 years and 8 months left to serve of his sentence. At the time of his arrest, he was found to be in possession of suspected forged identification documents," the police announced today.
