Former Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati commented on recent international developments that culminated in the Israel-Iran conflict and US intervention.
Bushati said that these developments prove that the global liberal order no longer exists and this, according to him, should make Albanians more attentive.
" What we considered as the liberal global order no longer exists, now we are in an amorphous situation where the old order no longer exists but a new order is being created. But we do not know who it is. We Albanians, first of all, must be very attentive and very concerned about what is happening because we are beneficiaries of the global order based on the principle of fundamental freedoms and human rights. Without this order and without the intervention of the Americans on the basis of some principles that are directly related to freedom and human rights, we would not have an independent Kosovo, we would not have Albania in NATO ," Bushati said on the 'Now at Euronews Albania' show.
