The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, has accused the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, of accessing and making public personal data related to him and his family members.
Shehaj's reaction came after the clash that occurred in the last parliamentary session, where, according to him, the minister committed a criminal offense by using personal information to threaten and blackmail him.
"In the last session, a criminal offense was committed by the Minister of Finance, Tergoi, who has accessed information related to me and my family, made it public and used it to blackmail me because I was seeking information about a scandal. You should be concerned about what happened in this Parliament. The Minister not only threatened me but also used foul language. The minutes should be corrected and what he said should be noted. You cannot use the Parliament as if you had private property. Falsify the minutes, make decisions contrary to regulations," said Shehaj.
Shehaj demanded that the Assembly minutes be corrected, claiming that the minister's statements during the debate should also be reflected in them.
He also accused the session leaders of using the Assembly "as private property" and making decisions in violation of the rules of procedure.
