Democratic Party MP Gent Strazimiri reacted with irony after the parliamentary session was interrupted.
According to him, it should be the most important session of the legislature, the one where the government seeks a vote of confidence from the Assembly.
Strazimiri wrote on social media that the session lasted "as long as the ashes of a freshly lit cigarette," while harshly attacking the way the discussion was interrupted after an emotional statement by 'Diella'.
“The most important parliamentary session of the legislature, the one in which the government was supposed to convince the people's representatives to give it a vote of confidence, lasted exactly as long as the ashes in this newly lit cigarette.
It happened in the bright presence of bright representatives of the free world, those we expect to assess the level of functioning of our democratic institutions, as we are ready to enter the EU.
The reason was that, before the session had even started, without any MPs speaking, "Diella" announced that she "felt hurt" by ... the opposition...(?!)
I can't wait to hear from the brilliant diplomatic corps accredited in Tirana regarding what happened!
In what form should the opposition apologize to "Diella" so that it deserves to be called a "constructive", "cooperative", "integrative" opposition, and most importantly, so that the apology can be called truly apologetic...?!" said Strazimir.
